Does this sound like you?

You're raising them in a world that pulls the other way.

  • School, friends, and the internet pull your children away from everything you're building at home.
  • Discipline swings between too harsh and too soft — and neither feels right.
  • To your kids, deen is starting to look like a list of rules instead of a love.
  • Screens are winning the battle for your child's attention — and you're tired of being the referee.
  • You parent the way your parents did — or in reaction against it — but not by your own design.
  • Your teenager is drifting, and every conversation turns into a confrontation.

The approach

Connection first. Discipline with dignity. Identity that holds.

The Prophet ﷺ was the gentlest of people with children — and the clearest in what he stood for. That combination is the model.

Connection before correction

Children accept guidance from parents they feel close to. We rebuild the relationship first — because rules without relationship produce rebellion.

Discipline with dignity

Clear boundaries, held calmly and consistently — without shouting, shaming, or giving up. Firm and kind at the same time, by design.

Identity rooted in deen

Raising children who know who they are — so that when the world asks, their faith is something they own with confidence, not something they hide or resent.

Who it's for

For parents doing the hardest job in a hard place

This is for you if…

  • You're a Muslim parent raising children in a Western environment
  • You want warmth and firmness — not a choice between them
  • You and your spouse want to parent as a team, by one design
  • Your child is drifting and you want to reconnect before it widens

It may not be the fit if…

  • Your child may have a developmental, behavioural, or mental-health condition — that calls for assessment by qualified professionals
  • You're looking for someone to "fix" the child without changing the home
  • There's a family crisis needing child-protection or clinical intervention

Coaching works on the parenting; specialists work on clinical concerns. Your coach will be honest about which one you need.

What a session looks like

You leave with something to try this week

  1. What happened this week

A check-in on the situations you faced — the blow-ups, the wins, and how the last session's approach played out at home.

  2. One situation, in depth

We take one recurring struggle — bedtimes, screens, salah, backtalk — and unpack what's actually driving it in your child and in you.

  3. A concrete plan

You leave with specific words, boundaries, and responses to use this week — not general principles you're left to translate alone.

  4. Both parents, one approach

Where possible both parents join, so the plan is shared — children thrive when the two of you are predictable together.

FAQ

Questions parents ask before booking

What ages does this cover?

From toddlers to teenagers. The tools change with the age — connection and routines for little ones, identity and trust for teens — but the approach is the same. For young people who want their own coaching, see Youth Coaching.

Do both parents need to attend?

It's ideal but not required. Many families start with one parent and bring the other in later. What matters is that whoever attends applies the plan consistently at home.

Does my child join the sessions?

Usually not — parenting coaching works with you, because you shape the home. If your child or teen would benefit from their own space, that's what Youth Coaching is for.

Is this religious instruction for my kids?

No — it's coaching for you as a parent. Deen is the foundation of the approach, and a big part of the work is helping your children love their faith rather than merely comply with it.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What you share about your children, your marriage, and your home stays in the session.

A note on coaching: coaching is not therapy, medical, or psychological treatment. If you're concerned your child may have a developmental or mental-health condition, please seek assessment from a qualified professional — coaching can run alongside, never instead.
