His story

Prof. Dr. Abdul Baseer Qazi left Pakistan as a young man and built his life in Germany — a career, a marriage, a family — in a language and a culture that weren't his own. He knows what it costs to succeed in the West without letting go of who you are, because he has paid that cost himself, and he has watched his own children grow up carrying the same two worlds.

It was there, far from home and inside a culture he had to weigh rather than simply absorb, that he began studying Islam critically — not as inherited habit, but as something he had to test for himself. What he found was that it isn't a private ritual. It is a complete system for understanding yourself, your family, and your purpose. Since 2001, that has shaped everything he has done.

Over twenty-five years of professional life — engineering degrees, a Master's and an MBA in Germany, two decades across IBM, Siemens, NXP Semiconductors and Philips, half a dozen startups built and led, and a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management — people kept coming to him with the conversations that matter: careers at a crossroads, marriages under strain, children drifting, the question of going home. Coaching is the formalisation of what he has been doing all along.

Why he coaches

Most guidance available to Muslims in the West comes in two halves: professional coaching that asks you to leave your deen at the door, or religious advice with little grip on the practical reality of your life. He built Infinite Coaching to close that gap — guidance that is serious about both the Qur'an and Sunnah and the concrete, modern problems you're carrying.

He coaches from both sides of the problems people bring him. He has built businesses and watched some fail. He has raised children in two cultures and made his share of mistakes doing it. He has counselled couples in crisis and had to apply the same principles in his own marriage. Not a textbook — two decades of trial, correction, and honest reflection, held against the standard of the Qur'an and Sunnah rather than the shifting standards of pop psychology.

What he sees most often isn't a shortage of information. People know what they should do; they don't know why it matters, or who they are ultimately answerable to for it. That gap is where he works.

His philosophy

Faith is the foundation, not a slogan. His approach rests on three convictions.

• Purpose before performance. Someone who understands their fitrah — their God-given nature and purpose — sustains the right actions far longer than someone handed a checklist of techniques.
• Systems thinking over quick fixes. His corporate and academic training was in finding root causes, not symptoms. Personal and family struggles are rarely isolated; they sit inside systems of belief, habit, and relationship that have to be understood together.
• Qur'an and Sunnah as the anchor, not an afterthought. Every framework he teaches is built on revealed guidance first, and supported by modern research and field experience second.

In practice that makes a session calm, direct, and practical — he will ask the questions others avoid, hold you to the standards you set for yourself, and treat what you share with complete confidentiality. He would rather tell you honestly that coaching isn't what you need than sell you a session that won't help.

• Khateeb at the Islamic Center Hamburg, and studying Islam seriously since 2001 — tested rather than inherited

Much of that work is now taught as a structured framework — six questions, each with an acronym built to be remembered under pressure, at two in the morning when a child is in tears and nobody can recall a technique from a book.
